OUR PHILOSOPHY

We believe a strong practice starts with a strong community. Every class is a place to move with power, breathe with intention, and show up exactly as you are.

About our practice

aplace is a yoga and fitness studio built for movement and connection. Our power-flow classes are a serious workout as much as a practice dynamic and challenging but our community is what keeps people coming back, beginners and lifelong yogis side by side.

Our values

Power and stillness, trained in equal measure.

Every level welcome. Every single class.

Stronger together — that's the whole point.

Kind words about our studio

I’ve sampled every studio worth writing about in this city, and aplace is the one I show up to on my own time, off the clock.

Foundations here isn’t an afterthought squeezed between the harder classes — the teachers hold real stillness, and I leave looser than a week of stretching on my own.

I lift four days a week and figured yoga would be the easy part of my routine — the power vinyasa classes here are the hardest hour I get all week.

I hadn’t done a single class before walking in nervous for Community Flow. Nobody made me feel like the beginner in the room, and it’s been the best part of my week since.

Between client calls and deadlines, this is the one hour my brain actually goes quiet. I leave every class with better ideas than I walked in with.

My private sessions talked me down from a genuinely rough year. It’s the only 45 minutes of my week where my brain actually stops.
